Civil Society Foundation

Founded in 1994 as the Open Society Georgia Foundation, the Civil Society Foundation works to build a vibrant and vocal civil society capable of holding government accountable to its citizens.

The Foundation drives forward important policy debates and reforms, implements projects and supports initiatives that serve the protection of human rights, civil society development, media independence, integration of ethnic minorities and marginal groups in society, implementation of reforms in the health sector and social equality.

The Foundation is an active member of various coalitions. In addition, it is has partnered with various non-governmental organizations to participate in the process of developing the annual action plan for the implementation of the Georgia-European Union Association Agreement.

The Executive Board is the highest governing body of the Foundation, and defines the Foundation’s strategic directions and policies. The Foundation’s management and team members are active citizens who care about creating a decent, fair and equal environment for all.

სამოქალაქო საზოგადოების ფონდი

თითქმის 30 წელია, სამოქალაქო საზოგადოების ფონდის (ყოფილი ღია საზოგადოების ფონდის) გუნდი საქართველოს მოქალაქეების გაძლიერებისთვისა და განვითარებისთვის მუშაობს. სამოქალაქო საზოგადოების ფონდი არის პლატფორმა, სადაც ადამიანები, ორგანიზაციები თუ კოალიციები დემოკრატიული ცვლილებებისთვისა და საზოგადოებრივი სიკეთისთვის ერთიანდებიან.

ფონდი ახორციელებს პროექტებს და მხარს უჭერს ისეთ ინიციატივებს, რომელიც ემსახურება ადამიანის უფლებების დაცვას, სამოქალაქო ორგანიზაციების განვითარებას, მედიის დამოუკიდებლობას, ეთნიკური უმცირესობების და მარგინალური ჯგუფების ინტეგრაციას საზოგადოებაში, რეფორმების განხორციელებას ჯანდაცვის სფეროში და სოციალურ თანასწორობას.

ფონდი არის აქტიური წევრი სხვადასხვა დარგობრივი კოალიციებისა. გარდა ამისა, მას პარტნიორობას უწევენ სხვადასხვა არასამთავრობო ორგანიზაციები, რომლებთან ერთადაც ფონდმა აქტიური მონაწილეობა მიიღო ასოცირების ხელშეკრულების შესრულების ყოველწლიური სამოქმედო გეგმის შემუშავების პროცესში.

Tbilisi Metro Workers' Union (Ertoba 2013)

“Ertoba 2013” was founded in 2013 by Tbilisi Transport Company metro drivers. Its full name is Tbilisi Transport Company Independent Professional Union of Electric Drivers and Employees. The organization unites about 500 metro workers.

Ertoba 2013 is governed by a nine-member board, which is elected by members via secret ballot. The chair is elected by the board.

The trade union is distinguished by its significant experience in both legal activity and collective dispute management. After a full-scale strike organized in 2018 by Ertoba 2013, all employees of the transport company received pay increases ranging from 10% to 35%.

The trade union has also developed a package of social assistance for its members. The package includes financial assistance for the birth of a union member’s child and in the event of a member’s sickness or death (or the death of a member of their family).

Unity 2013 provides legal support to its members, fights for the improvement of workers’ interests and rights, contributes to the struggle for the creation of an effective labor inspection service, and works to improve the labor law.

New Confederation of Independent Unions (NCIU)

The New Confederation of Independent Unions was founded on January 20, 2020 by three independent trade unions: Ertoba 2013, the Social Workers’ Union and Solidarity Network. The new confederation represents a diverse range of workers: drivers, nurses, social workers, Internet technology specialists, teachers, couriers, translators, cashiers, journalists and more.

The goal of the New Confederation is to strengthen workers’ rights and improve working conditions by creating new unions and better legislation.

Social Workers' Union

The Social Workers’ Union was founded on April 8, 2019 by 61 social workers. The organization currently has more than 100 members, social workers and students representing both the public service and the non-governmental sector. To become a member of the trade union, a person must meet at least one of the following criteria: be employed as a social worker; be a student in a social work educational program; have an academic degree in social work; have at least one year of experience as a social worker.

Some of the union’s activities include: legal consultation; support to members during family or work difficulties; monitoring the implementation of the action plan of the Law of Georgia on Social Work; and cooperation with the media to properly cover the mission and mandate of social work.

Georgian Young Lawyers' Association

The Georgia Young Lawyers’ Association (GYLA) is non-governmental organization founded in 1994. It is a membership-based organization that today unites roughly 700 members.

GYLA began with the aim of changing negative stereotypes around the legal profession by promoting the development of the legal profession, human rights protection, the establishment of rule of law and the development of civil society by the example of its own professionalism, competence and activity.

Over the years, the organization has focused its activities in the following primary areas: the development of a free legal aid system; legal education and civic education; the improvement of Georgian legislation; legal representation for people whose rights have been violated; strategic litigation; professional development for lawyers; the development of civil society; and the promotion of freedom of information and transparency.

Social Justice Center

The Social Justice Center (formerly EMC) is a left-wing organization working on human rights and social justice. It aims to identify the structural reasons for economic, social, and political inequality, and to share critical knowledge while contributing to the transformation of the existing order via democratic means. It was founded in 2012.

The center’s activities, work ethics, methods and strategies are based on the ideas of participation, equality and solidarity. The organization focuses on a wide range of thematic areas, including: labor rights, freedom of religion, drug policy, the judicial system, the right to housing, the law enforcement system, LGBT rights, the security sector, politics and human rights in conflict regions, criminal justice, critical feminist thought, disability rights, social justice, ethnic minorities, anti-discrimination policies, social movements, decolonial perspectives, women’s rights, and more.

The Social Justice Center’s governance is horizontal and democratic. It is collectively managed by a board of directors. Important decisions are made through discussion with employees.

Human Rights Watch investigates and reports on abuses happening in all corners of the world. პროფკავშირების ახალი გაერთიანება

„დამოუკიდებელი პროფკავშირების ახალი გაერთიანება“ დაფუძნდა 2020 წლის 20 იანვარს. გაერთიანება დააფუძნა საქართველოში მოქმედმა დამოუკიდებელმა პროფკავშირებმა: “ერთობა 2013-მა”, “სოციალურ მუშაკთა გაერთიანებამ” და “სოლიდარობის ქსელმა”. ახალი გაერთიანება წარმოადგენს მშრომელთა მრავალფეროვან სპექტრს: მემანქანეებს, ექთნებს, სოციალურ მუშაკებს, ინტერნეტ ტექნოლოგიების სპეციალისტებს, სოციალურ აგენტებს, მასწავლებლებს, კურიერებს, მთარგმნელებს, მოლარეებს, ჟურნალისტებს და სხვა.

„პროფკავშირების ახალი გაერთიანების“ მიზანია გააძლიეროს მშრომელთა უფლებები და გააუმჯობესოს სამუშაო პირობები ახალი კავშირებისა და უკეთესი კანონმდებლობის შექმნით.

ერთობა 2013

,,ერთობა 2013″ დაფუძნდა 2013 წელს, ,, თბილისის სატრანსპორტო კომპანიის” ელ. მემანქანეების მიერ. მისი სრული სახელია ,,თბილისის სატრანსპორტო კომპანიის” ელ მემანქანეთა და კომპანიაში სხვა პოზიციებზე დასაქმებულთა, დამოუკიდებელი პროფესიული კავშირი. ორგანიზაცია აერთიანებს 500-მდე მეტროს მშრომელს.

მმართველი ორგანოა გამგეობა 9 წევრის შემადგენლობით, მათ შორისაა თავმჯდომარე. გამგეობას ირჩევს წევრთა უმრავლესობა ფარული კენჭისყრით, თავმჯდომარეს კი – გამგეობა, ხმათა უმრავლესობის საფუძველზე.

პროფკავშირი გამოირჩევა როგორც სამართლებრივი საქმიანობის, ისე კოლექტიური დავების წარმართვის მნიშვნელოვანი გამოცდილებით. სწორედ ერთობა 2013-ის ორგანიზებით 2018 წელს მოეწყო მუშაკთა სრულმასშტაბიანი გაფიცვა. შედეგად, სატრანსპორტო კომპანიის ყველა თანამშრომელს მოემატა ანაზღაურება 10%-დან 35%-მდე.

აღსანიშნავია, რომ პროფკავშირს წევრებისათვის სოციალური დახმარების პაკეტი აქვს შემუშავებული. პაკეტი მოიცავს ფინანსურ დახმარებას პროფკავშირის წევრის შვილის შეძენის, წევრის ოპერაციის, გარდაცვალების ან მისი ოჯახის წევრის გარდაცვალების დროს.

ერთობა 2013 ახორციელებს წევრების იურიდიულ მხარდაჭერას, იბრძვის მშრომელთა ინტერესებისა და უფლებების გაუმჯობესებისათვის, აქვს წვლივი შრომის ინსპექციის შექმნისათვის ბრძოლაში, შრომის კანონის გაუმჯობესებაში.

სოციალურ მუშაკთა გაერთიანება

“სოციალურ მუშაკთა გაერთიანება” დაფუძნდა 2019 წლის 8 აპრილს 61 სოციალური მუშაკის მიერ. ორგანიზაციას ამჟამად 100-ზე მეტი წევრი ჰყავს როგორც საჯარო სამსახურის, ისე არასამთავრობო სექტორის წარმომადგენელი სოციალური მუშაკები და სტუდენტები. პროფკავშირის წევრობისათვის აუცილებელია პირი აკმაყოფილებდეს ერთ კრიტერიუმს მაინც: დასაქმებული იყოს სოციალურ მუშაკად; არის სოციალური მუშაობის საგანმანათლებლო პროგრამის ნებისმიერი საფეხურის სტუდენტი; აქვს აკადემიური ხარისხი სოციალურ მუშაობაში; აქვს სოციალურ მუშაკად მუშაობის მინიმუმ ერთწლიანი გამოცდილება.

ორგანიზაციის საქმიანობის ძირითადი მიმართულებებია: სამართლებრივი კონსულტაცია, მხარდაჭერა ოჯახური ან სამსახურეობრივი სირთულეების დროს; „საქართველოს კანონის სოციალური მუშაობის შესახებ“ სამოქმედო გეგმის შესრულებაზე მონიტორინგი; შეხვედრები სტუდენტებთან და აბიტურიენტებთან; თანამშრომლობა მედიასაშუალებებთან, რათა სწორად გაშუქდეს სოციალური მუშაობის მისია და მანდატი; და სხვა.

ადამიანთა უფლებთა დამცველი

იგი წარმოადგენს საერთაშორისო არასამთავრობო ორგანიზაციას, რომელიც 1978 წელს ამერიკის შეერთებულ შტატებში დააარსდა. ორგანიზაცია იკვლევს და ავრცელებს ინფორმაციას მსოფლიოს მასშტაბით არსებული ძალადობის შესახებ. აღსანისნავია, რომ იგი ადამიანთა საკმაოდ დიდ გაერთიანებას წარმოადგენს, რომელთა შორისაც 550-ზე მეტი სხვადასხვა ეროვნების ექსპერტები, იურისტები, ჟურნალისტები და სხვა მრავალი პიროვნებაა თავმოყრილი. ამ ადამიანების მთავარი მიზანი კი დაუცველი უმცირესობების, ომის შედეგად დაზარალებული მშვიდობიანი მოსახლეობის, ლტოლვილებისა და მიუსაფარები ბავშვების დახმარებაა.

ორგანიზაცია აქტიურად მუშაობს იღწვის იმისათვის, რომ მოძალადენი წარსდგნენ მართლმსაჯულების წინაშე და სამართლიანად აგონ პასუხი თავიანთ დანაშაულზე.

ორგანიზაცია მკაცრ უარს განაცხადებს ნებისმიერი სახის შემოწირულობაზე მთავრობათა მხრიდან. მის დაფინანსებას უზრუნველყოფენ კერძო პირები და ფონდები მსოფლიოს სხვადასხვა კუთხიდან.

საქართველოს ახალგაზრდა იურისტთა ასოციაცია გახლავთ საზოგადოებრივი ორგანიზაცია. საქმიანობა დაიწყო როგორც პროფესიონალ იურისტთა გაერთიანებამ, რომელმაც მიზნად დაისახა იურისტის პროფესიის გარშემო არსებული უარყოფითი სტერეოტიპის შეცვლა და საკუთარი პროფესიონალიზმის, კომპეტენტურობისა და საქმიანობის მაგალითზე იურიდიული პროფესიის განვითარების ხელშეწყობა, ადამიანის უფლებათადაცვა, სამართლებრივი სახელმწიფოს ჩამოყალიბებისა და სამოქალაქო საზოგადოების განვითარების მხარდაჭერა.

საია დაფუძნდა 1994 წელს. იგი წარმოადგენს წევრობაზე დაფუძნებულ ორგანიზაციას. დღესდღეობით „საია“ 700-მდე წევრს აერთიანებს.

წლების განმავლობაში ორგანიზაცია ახორციელებს საქმიანობას შემდეგი მთავარი მიმართულებებით: უფასო იურიდიული დახმარების სისტემის განვითარება; იურიდიული სწავლება და სამოქალაქო განათლება; საქართველოს კანონმდებლობის სრულყოფა; უფლებადარღვეულ მოქალაქეთა სასამართლო წარმომადგენლობა და სტრატეგიული სამართალწარმოება; იურისტთა პროფესიული დაოსტატება; სამოქალაქო საზოგადოების განვითარება; ინფორმაციის თავისუფლებისა და გამჭვირვალეობის ხელშეწყობა.

სოლიდარობის ქსელი

პროფკავშირი – სოლიდარობის ქსელი აერთიანებს ჯანდაცვის, ზრუნვისა და მომსახურების სფეროებში დასაქმებულ მშრომელებს. „სოლიდარობის ქსელის“ იდეა 5 წლის წინ დაიბადა. 2015 წლიდან დღემდე მრავალი გამოცდილების დაგროვებისა და შრომის საკითხების საზოგადოებაში პოპულარიზებასთან ერთად ორგანიზაციამ მოახერხა დახმარებოდა უამრავ ადამიანს, ხოლო 2017 წლიდან კი, უკვე როგორც მომსახურებისა და ჯანდაცვის სფეროში დასაქმებულთა პროფკავშირი იბრძვის მშრომელთა გამარჯვებისათვის.

დღესდღეობით, პროფკავშირი დიდი გამოცდილებით გამოირჩევა დასაქმებულთა ინტერესების დაცვის მიმართულებით, ეს არის კოლექტიური ხელშეკრულების გაფორმების პროცესი, კანონპროექტების წერა, სასამართლო დავები თუ გაფიცვების ორგანიზება.

სოციალური სამართლიანობის ცენტრი (ყოფილი EMC) დაარსდა 2012 წელს და წარმოადგენს ადამიანის უფლებებსა და სოციალურ სამართლიანობაზე მომუშავე მემარცხენე ორგანიზაციას, რომლის მიზანია, გამოავლინოს ეკონომიკური, სოციალური და პოლიტიკური უსამართლობის სტრუქტურული მიზეზები, გაავრცელოს კრიტიკული ცოდნა და ხელი შეუწყოს არსებული წესრიგის დემოკრატიული გზებით გარდაქმნას.

ცენტრის ყოველდღიური საქმიანობა, სამუშაო ეთიკა, მეთოდები და სტრატეგიები ემყარება მონაწილეობის, თანასწორობისა და სოლიდარობის იდეებს. ორგანიზაციის საქმიანობა რამდენიმე ძირითად მიმართულებას მოიცავს, რომელთა შორისაა:შრომის უფლება, რელიგიის თავისუფლება, ნარკოპოლიტიკა, სასამართლო სისტემა, უფლება საცხოვრებელზე, სამართალდამცავი სისტემა, ლგბტი უფლებები, უსაფრთხოების სექტორი, პოლიტიკა და ადამიანის უფლებები კონფლიქტის რეგიონებში, სისხლის სამართლის მართლმსაჯულება, კრიტიკული ფემინისტური აზრი, შეზღუდული შესაძლებლობის მქონე პირთა უფლებები, სოციალური სამართლიანობა, ეთნიკური უმცირესობები, ანტიდისკრიმინაციული პოლიტიკა, სოციალური მოძრაობები, დეკოლონიური პერსპექტივები, ქალთა უფლებები და სხვა.

სოციალური სამართლიანობის ცენტრის მართვის წესი ჰორიზონტალური და დემოკრატიულია; მას კოლექტიურად მართავს დირექტორთა საბჭო. მნიშვნელოვანი გადაწყვეტილებები თანამშრომლებთან დისკუსიის გზით მიიღება.
