Wolt delivery service couriers in Georgia have been protesting their work conditions since February.
They are demanding a range of improved working conditions: increased pay in line with inflation, the correction of flaws in the Wolt app and safety improvements. Despite several meetings and other communications with management, their demands have not been met.
Courier work can be difficult and challenging. Cases of injury and damage are common. A courier injured in a road accident in March 2022 has been hospitalized for over a year.
