Labor relations in Georgia are regulated by the Labor Code of Georgia. The rights provided by the Labor Code are the minimum guarantees established by law, and it is unacceptable to determine other conditions by an employment agreement that may worsen the employee’s condition.
This report by Georgian Young Lawyers Association, prepared with funding from People in Need, explains recent changes to the Georgian Labor Code in simple and understandable language.
Available in Georgian and English.
